Meet the Principal

David O’Neill, P.E.

As the founding Principal of Trinity Engineering Group, David has practiced structural engineering all along the East Coast and Texas. With expertise in all market sectors he is regarded as a conduit for architects, developers and owners to brainstorm with and find the best solution for their designs. David has earned a reputation for his personal hands-on approach with an emphasis on listening to his client's needs to produce structures that are budget conscious, easily constructible and on time while maintaining the highest design standards.

David is a rebound Rhode Islander, returning with his family to his hometown of South Kingstown to open up his practice after starting his career in Texas and Providence.  His wife Melissa joined the TEG team as office manager bringing her many years of administrative experience to work for the company. David and Melissa are the proud parents of two boys. David is a brother in the University of Rhode Island Beta Chapter of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity (pledge class of 1987) and is proud to be in a position to give back to the community that he has always called home.
